Short introduction

SQL Assistant v13.5 contains several new features and enhancements, among them are two major additions: 64-bit add-on for SQL Server Management Studio 21, and the Database Migration Toolkit including SQL Code Translator utility. Internally this maintenance version also contains a new foundation for building machine learning extensions in follow up versions. The changes are described with more details in the sections below.

  3. SQL Assistant add-on for 64-bit version of SQL Server Management Studio 21.

  1. UI enhancements - colored tabs for different database connections, supported in SQL Assistant Professional IDE.
  2. Hiding columns in data-grids.
  3. Improved support for secure connections over SSL, certificate validation, Microsoft Entra authentication, multi-factor authentication, and data security at rest.
  4. Code preprocessor enhancements, smarter treatment of custom unrecognized directves and avoiding collisions.
  5. A number of other minor improvements and bug fixes.
