Jobs can be setup to monitor for network problems, react to SNMP events generated by various devices (prointers, network switches, etc...) and applications (for example, when system runs low of disk space or database encounters some errors) 24x7 can capture these events and run alerts or fix-it operations. For more info get a book about SNMP. What do you want to disable? If you don't want SNMP functions isply don't use them. : I am confusing it. What type of jobs would use it then and how do I disable : it?
