Post Error creating directory for the job queue Reply with quote

I created a new job queue with a / in the name and when I restarted
24x7 it attempted to create a windows folder and
failed since it's not a valid character for this type of operation.
I'm unable to start 24x7 now as it attempts this each time at startup.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks!!

If you run the Windows version do this:
Run regedit.exe. Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SoftTree Technologies, Inc.\24x7 Scheduler\3.0\Queues" folder and then delete or rename the faulting queue.

If you run the Java version do this:
Make a backup of the preferences.xml file that can be found in the install directory. Edit preferences.xml file using Notepad or other text editor and manually rename the faulting queue.
