Run just highlighted section - SQL Editor Light |
|
Hi - 2 questions about the SQL Editor Lite.
1. Is there a way for it to just run the part you have selected? so I might have 5 queries in the window but only want to execute one. Is there a way to do this?
2. Is there a way to have multiple query editor tabs open? If so how? I see you can have multiple result ones. Thanks much

1. Highlight the query you want to run and then press F5 key or Execute command from the menu.
Or if your query is properly delimited, you can use Execute Current Statements command.
2. Not with the Lite version. You would need to use the Professional version which supports multiple tabls as well as multiple documents interface, screen split, and many other features you would expect in a full featured development IDE (please see top most screenshot in the second column here
