SA 6.4.199 is still using the SqlAssist.sas file in folder 6.3.
EDIT: the issue I described here might be a possible corruption of the SqlAssist.sas file. Though I cannot reliably reproduce the issue I've experienced it a couple of times in the last few hours. The last time it happened I compared the file causing the CPU spike with a previously saved correct file (see the screenshot made in Beyond Compare below) and noticed that there are some extra bytes on the line that's starting with "menuData=".
The upper line is from the saved file and the lower is from the suspected one. When I restored the line from the backup (thus, removed the characters/bytes marked red by Beyond Compare), SA starts normally again.

It looks like that every time I apply a change to the options, several bytes are added/removed to/from this line and when it exceeds a certain limit, SA (or any process trying to use it) hangs. The number of bytes added or removed seems to be random.
