I've already set it to not show in the toolbar, but the icon is still displayed on the toolbar!

The icons are not shown on the toolbar, but the toolbar itself is not managed by that option. You can hide it in SSMS settings.

In SSMS, right-click any toolbar area and select Customize, or navigate to Tools > Customize menu. You can then show/hide toolbars from there. Click the name of SQL Assistant toolbar you want to hide. A check mark indicates it is visible; no check mark means it is hidden. So you want to uncheck it, to hide it.

After hiding it, it reappears after restarting SSMS. However, it works normally in SSMS20.

Which SSMS version does't hide the toolbar?

SQL Assistant doesn't have a function that makes toolbar show or hide. When the addon is installed, it creates SQL Assistant toolbar. The add-on doesn't control toolbar's visibility state.

If you still see that empty "...." toolbar, can you try moving it to the top row? Restart SSMS 2022 after that and then then hide it.
If that still doesn't do anything and it doesn't remember your changes, Please try starting SSMS in Run as Administrator mode and repeating the same steps.

Could you consider releasing a Chinese version?
China has a very large user base. Therefore, I suggest you develop a Chinese version of SQL Assistant. Please put this plan on the agenda.

Also, please support payment methods using Chinese apps such as Alipay or WeChat.

thank you!!!
