FR: Object Properties from editor context menu |
|
When I have an object selected in the Database Explorer I can invoke their Properties dialog using the F4 hotkey or the context menu > Properties...
That same Properties dialog cannot be invoked from the editor. I can trigger showing its DLL or data, scripting both of them, even refactoring, but not their Properties. I have to locate the object in the Database Editor first.
Could you add menu items for both for quickly locating the object under the cursor and for showing their Properties dialog to the editor context menu, please?

It's true there is no hot key for that. But there is also no need to search for the objects in the Database Explorer. One can mouse over the object name in the editor, wait for a second for the popup hint to appear above it, and then click the object name hyperlink in the popup. It opens the same properties dialog that is opened from the Database Explorer.
I think adding F4 hot key to the editor is a good idea.

Er... I never noticed that the object name is a hyperlink. The only thing I remember vaguely is that I might have said that already once or twice?
