What workarounds for "Not enough memory resources" |
|
Hi,
I'm getting an error during an export to Excel, that the Excel Workbook failed, and not enough memory resources to complete.
Should I just half the date range in one of the fields, generate each half separately, then combine them? Or generate a .csv instead, then do the standard Excel import?
Or tinker with virtual memory?

If the dataset is large, maybe export to CSV file? With CSV file export there isn't a size limit other than amount of free disk space. You can then open that file in Excel. With in memory Export to Excel without using files, you may get that "not enough memory resources to complete"

Yep, that was one of my guesses. And it does work.
