 FR: Syntax Indicator Bar visible. [SORT OF] |

The Syntax Indicator Bar shows marks both indicating syntax problems (warnings with yellow and errors with red stripes) and those that are created by a to do comment which makes it even more useful. The moment I edit the text the Indicator Bar is removed (the text is in unchecked state and you don't want to show that, I guess). The problem is that this way I'm deprived the indication of lines marked for to do as well.
Would it be possible to leave the Indicator Bar visible, only remove the indicators for syntax and update the indicators for to do on the fly (the way you update it for bookmarks)?

Let me run this idea by development team and ask if that is doable or there are specific technical reasons behind that.

A new option will be implemented in 7.4 that would allow making the indicator bar sticky
