Post New server - no autocomplete ? Reply with quote
We have created a new sql server ( new server) ( replaced the old one)

Same credentials.

the problem is that we can't see autocomplete .

We also refreshed + connect+ refresh in Sql assistant : but there is no tables at all :

Image :

this used to work .

Is there any port/permissions for sqlassistant ?

PS the query DOES yields results :

What do you mean by refreshed connect?

SQL Assistant normally shares connections with SSMS. What you see in SSMS is what should be visible to SQL Assistant. There should not be separate connect prompts.

Please try disabling and then reenabling SQL Assistant's plugin for SSMS.

Thanks for reply.

By "refreshed & connect " - I mean those two :

Regarding : "Please try disabling and then reenabling SQL Assistant's plugin for SSMS." — How do I do it ?

I removed the registration and closed SSMS and run again ( make sure it is connected) — but still no tables.

You can see here :

(Already checked if tables are listed in "List Items") - but it must have something else.

We have another 6 servers ( sql servers - all fine with them !) - sqlassistant works great with them

it's just that one new server is problematic. ( and as you can see in the previous post - the query & connection is valid and there're results.)

Just wanted to update

the problem was missing service pack which solved all problems.

Now it's ok.
Thank you.
