Post Tables completion not working ? Reply with quote
we bought the 6.0.86 version.

And on my boss computer - the tables completion stop working.
the last queries completion does work but when it comes to :

select name from <-[ctrl space]

Nothing is working.

Is there anyway to solve this / reset settings ?

(sql server 2008 r2 , windows 7).

Are you using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or something else? Which version?

Your configuration settings appear to be broken. Please restore the factory default settings. Options dialog -> Import/Export button, choose Load Default Options and OK.

In response to your image posts

1. In the grid, right-click and choose either Select All and then copy, it will copy all data along with the column headers to the Clipboard, or alternatively, use Open in Excel

2. if you use Ctrl+Space to paste the table name, but also want columns, after table name type (, SQL Assistant's popup with columns will appear. Right -click it and choose Select All, that will insert all columns to the editor, or if you need just a subset, using mouse or keyboard, select only the columns you need. there are lots of other shortcuts and tricks available for this and many other things.
