Issues upgrading Scheduler from v.3.6 to 5.1 |
|
I'm having issues with upgrading a server from 24x7 Scheduler 3.6 to 5.1. When starting 5.1 the first time, it should tell me it found a previous version, and ask me if I want to upgrade the data. But that's not happening, 5.1 comes up clean with default data and doesn't ask about upgrading the previous version.
We have upgraded 4 machines without issue (kudos to Softtree on a normally clean process), but this one is giving me fits.
Anyone seen this and figured out what the issues are?
Softtree has been trying to help, but we're just not finding the problem.

This has happened to me twice.
I'm not sure why either.
Are you using Run as Administrator when you run the installer?

It took us a while, but we worked throught various issues |

Keep working with Softtree and check over your NTFS permissions carefully
