Thank you for using a separate topic and not piggybacking on an old one. Here is a copy of my response in the old topic.

If you have SQL Assistant running in the system tray, it should just work, nothing special is required. To test, Open SQL Editor, type SEL, a popup should appear suggesting SELECT and other options for the code entry. If it doesn't popup, press Ctrl+Shift+F5 key. What do you get after that?

Which version of PL/SQL Developer are you using? SQL Assistant version?

Hi ,
I have the same problem
sql developer ver:3.2.20
sql assistent ver: 5.1.7
windows 7 Ultimate

on sql developer when I type SEL and press ctrl+enter display popup .... but from SQL developer enviroment, not from sql assistant. Also snippets doesn't work ...
when I press ctrl+shift+F5 nothing happen
Actually nothing (no one option from SQL Assistant work), like PL SQL Developer doesn't aware that SQL Assistant exists.
That Oracle DB isn't on local machine, but with SQL Server works.

thanks

with sql server, notepad works perfect

Oracle SQL Developer is not a Windows application, it is written in Java and SQL Assistant integrates with it only via plugin.
1. So please ensure that SQL Assistant plugin has been installed and properly configured. Please read the manual for specific details and instructions.
2. Please ensure you run 32-bit version of Oracle SQL Developer.
2. Do not expect SQL Assistant popups to appear within the Java editor used by SQL Developer, that is not going to happen. Instead use the SQL Assistant's top menu in the SQL Developer IDE to open SQL Assistant's own code editor, which will support all SQL Assistant's functions once the plugin is properly set.
