Protected PDF manuals |

Wow, SoftTree adding a password to the latest versions of the PDF manuals is frustrating.
I can't copy the odd paragraph into our own documentation.
Not sure what you're trying to accomplish... PDF passwords are pretty easy to break, so you're just annoying legit users without stopping the bad guys.

Thanks, but I've typed them out now.
My point was it's like piracy warnings on the start of DVDs--they annoy legit buyers/renters, while the people downloading movies from pirate sites don't see them.
It's the first time I've come across this in a PDF for software/hardware, and I've downloaded a number of them.
