SQL Assistant 6.1.35 throws error when VS2010 loads

Just purchased sql assistant upgrade from version 5 to version 6, and I have uninstalled, cleaned the registry, and re-installed, and still get an error every time I run VS2010. The error message is: Class not registered, Error number 80040154. Seems to work fine with Sql Server Management Studio, but VS2010 keeps throwing this error even though I have removed it from my Add-ins. Can someone help with this?

In which directory it has been installed?

Visual Sutdio 2010 Ultimate - executable is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe"

Could you please check you have the follow key in the registry and let us know if it is present?

and also verify the path in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{754CF073-05B2-4E97-880D-1D88D8D514BE}\InprocServer32\CodeBase is correct.

No, that key is not present in the registry. However, I did follow the steps in
http://www.softtreetech.com/support/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23685
as recommended earlier. After running SQL Assistant as admin, un-registering and re-registering the SQL Assistant add-on for MS Visual Studio target using the steps outlined in that topic, I them ran VS2010 as admin and it seemed to work. I then quit both and started them both up as normal user (not admin mode) and it does appear to have solved the problem.

Now when I run both SQL Assistant and VS2010 in normal mode (not as admin) it appears to work okay. I am able now to connect to a db and get the sql assistant menus when editing a sql script.

Note that I still do not have the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{754CF073-05B2-4E97-880D-1D88D8D514BE} key in my registry, even after getting it to work.
