24x7 SNMP Extension Agent: Timeout

How do we stop receiving the following Windows Application event log error and retain jobs that errored as being disabled?

SNMP Service - has been started and running
SNMP Trap Service - not running

In our job the Notification Actions and Properties section is set to "NO". Within in JAL coding we use MailSend to send out an email notification.

I tried to remove the 24x7snmp.dll file (stopping/starting the SNMP Service) and this helped to stop the errors from appearing in the Windows Event Application log. However, when there is a RaiseError and/or OnErrorStop command executed, the job no longer shows the job as being DISABLED in the job list as it did before with the 24x7snmp.dll file present.
Only the 24x7 Scheduler logs show the job as being disabled.

this error indicates you are having problems with installation or configuration of Windows built-in SNMP agent service. 24x7snmp is an extension agent for that service. And you likely have a job that is calling some SNMP function, for exmple, SNMPWaitForTrap. Maybe it is a test job, I don't know.

You can change the timeout settings in Windows config or disable SNMP service all together. However, if you don't really use SNMP functions in 24x7, you can simply rename or delete 24x7snmp dll, just as you did, and that will stop the errors. There should be no other side effects.
