I can repeat problem every time now |
|
WHile in Query Analyer (OS is server 2003) when I tye the word Select and your intellisense with tables pops up, and if I drag that list of tables to make it bigger, it completely kicks me out of Query Analyzer. It does the same thing when I execute code with SQL Assistant and the results appear below. If I try to make it larger, it does the exact same thing. This was also happening in 3.5 version, hoping it would be fixed in 4.1.

This is rather unusual. I am unable to reproduce it on XP system. I am going to get Query Analyzer installed on Windows 2003 and let you know if I can reproduce it there.

I installed SQL 2000 tools on W2003K server and I am unable to reproduce the issue.
Can you temporarily enable Dr Watson so that if Query Analyzer crashes during resize you can get the crash info and the stack trace?
Please see technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa995634.aspx and support.microsoft.com/kb/188296 for more details.
