Post Feature request processing day holidays Reply with quote
Hi
It would be much better for us if 24x7 could operate holidays on two different schedules, as we have significant processing running on time triggers in the early morning relating to the previous day. The current holiday functionality will not run a job if it is currently a holiday, but xmas morning for example we needed something to run at 6am as normal but not the next day.

So in a nutshell we need to be able to set a time based job to not run if YESTERDAY was a holiday as well while running if TODAY is a holiday
Thanks
Lee

I've band-aided this with some JAL code to exit the job if yesterday was a holiday but it would still be much cleaner if it was doable in the GUI

You may want to look into switching to running 24x7 MP Edition instead of Windows-only Edition or at least moving some jobs. The scheduling engine in MP edition has been built from ground up to support multiple concurrent calendars. In fact, you can define as many calendars as you want, including defining multiple exclusive-days calendars that mimic holiday table in 24x7 Windows edition.
