Auto Complete feature and cyrillic table names |
|
Hello.
Does "Auto Complete" feature support national symbols, e.g Cyrillic, in table names? In my case, when I type a table name in the russian keyboard layout SQL Assistant can't find it.
Thanks for help and sorry for my English.
Best regards,
Igor.

Thanks for a replay.
Did you write about a non-beta version?
I use version 4.0.20 BETA (with MS SQL Server 2000) and it search in the history list only, DB objects with cyrillic name are ignored.

I meant retail version, which will be likely available next week.
By the way 4.0.20 is not very stable. You should have upgraded it to a more recent build. There were 6 beta builds publicly released and announced since the initial beta build 4.0.20.

Ok. Sorry, but I did not download this beta from your site. It was recommended to me by my friend. That is why I have this version only.
But anyway it is very good useful tool. Can you send to me (igor.makeev@NOSPAMgmail.com) latest beta? And if it really support Cyrillic, can I buy it in Russia? Your reseller in Russia, Softline, have not SQL Assistant in a pricelist.

Apologies for changing your post in order to mask your email address and protect it from automated spam bots scanning Internet and collecting email addresses.
The beta program is now closed because of the imminent release of the retail version which is expected in a few days.
Yes, you can get it in Russia. I'm not sure why it is not in Softline price list, but they sell all of our products including SQL Assistant, which is very inexpensive. If you are unable to reach Softline, please email to sales@*NOSPAM*softtreetech.com and they will provide you with a contact at Sofline who can assist you with the licensing. You can also always purchase a license directly from our automated on-line web store.
