 SQL Assistant V2 Crashes MS Query Editor: Bug |

When I am using SQL Management Studio or Query Analyzer SQL Asstistant will sometimes pop up the connection dialog and anytime after that I try to execute a query it will crash the editor. IT does not matter what I do with the connection dialog. I already have a connection and it appears. I can set it or cancel and the result is the same. I always crashes the Query editor I am using. I downloaded and installed on my home PC with Management Studio Express and it does the same thing.

Does the Connect dialog come up soon after you start typing SQL queries or after a while?
If the answer is 'after a while', do you know if you loose database connectivity at that time or have some network connection hiccup?
When it crashes, do you get an error message, like "application tried to execute instruction at …" or something similar?

It veries when the connection dialog comes up, but i always crashes after the dialog opens and I execute a query. I do not get error from SQL Assistant. The error i get is "SQLWB - SQL Management Studio has encounterd a problem and needs to close. We ae sorry for the inconvenience.", and i have the option to Degun, Send Error Report and Dont Send.This looks like a Microsoft dailg. I thought it was the netork at first, that is why i tried it on my home pc.
One other thing that I noticed is if i change any option of SQL Assistant while Management Studio is open it will crash Management Studio. That Error is a .NET Runtime Error. "Unhandled executes has occured in a component in you application. Id you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue." If i click on details this is what i get:

| SQL Assitant crashes when using with sql server management |
|
I have seen this happen all the time, but only when I am trying to connect to different databases, the databases could be on the same server or different does not seam to matter.

Please try 2.0.16. We have fixed several connectivity related issues recently. I hope this is one of them.
