Post eval Period Expired Reply with quote

After upgrading from 3.4.19 to 3.4.24 on our production server, i am tring the COM+ interface via ASP to the 24x7 program.

I have my test script written, but when I try and create the session.. i get : Evaluation period expired.Session not started

as the last error returned.

To upgrade... I completely uninstalled 24x7, and deleted all directories.. and installed the latest version from scratich.

Located in the C:\Program Files\24x7 Automation 3 directory

According to my manager, we have a current site license for 24x7 .. so.. why are we getting this message?

24x7 scheduler is working with no issues...

Looks like you didn't enter valid license key on this particular computer. Did you enter your site license number in the setup?

I did enter the number in setup.. and a check of the registry key serial shows the matching number.

I was assured that we do have a site license... is our key invalid for the latest version?

Still something is missing somewhere. Try this, using the registry editor create new sub key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SoftTree Technologies, Inc.\24x7 Scheduler\3.0\RC_COM", under that subkey create new string value, call it Serial and for the value enter your license key number. Hope this helps.
