I am sure you can do. Netlogon.log is a simple flat ASCII text file that can be read from a JAL script or VBScript job in 24x7 and lines with a specific text can be counted as needed. Such job can be setup as a file time change watch job for netlogon.net file in 24x7 Event Server or as a script that runs every X minutes or seconds in 24x7 Scheduler and checks file size or time. Because netlogon.net can grow very fast I suggest that periodically rename it with a date suffix as a way to control file size and reduce time required for file parsing. If you need with writing such script please let us know. : Hi there, : i am very interested in this tool 24X7. : Can i use it to schedule an auto trigger when an : event id e.g. 644 is being ecnountered 20 times in my netlogon.log?? : Pls advise.
