24x7 started as a WIndows 2000 Service

Hi,

If I configure 24x7 to start as a NT Service

Tools
Options
Service

check Run 24x7 as a Windows NT Service

Service Account = My Lan Id
Password = My Lan Password

Click on Start Automatically.

Question:

If I log off my LAN Userid, Does 24X7 still run in
the background or is 24x7 Shutdown???

All services that use your account will be automatically stopped by Windows. When you logon Windows will automatically start all services under your account that have Start Automatic option. To avoid that use non-interractive accounts or domain admin account.
