mail server not responding

Post mail server not responding Reply with quote

Hi all,
I got this error while executing the mailsend() funtion
Mail SERVER not respoding

We use smtp profile
Let me know how can I send mails using mailsend()

Make sure you have specified valid server name or IP address for the email. If you have a local firewall on the machine or anti-virus program running make sure it doesn't block 24x7.exe executable sending TCP packets on port 25 (SMTP)

we have the same problem,IP SMTP server it's correct, Firewall all port open.
If if run the job manualy sometime the job go sometime no.

I don't know what to say. There must be some issue with the network or permissions.
If you can send email using MAPI (Outlook, Eudora, etc...) try using MAPI email interface in 24x7 instead of SMTP.
