The standby server is not listening for network requests because it is not running in the server mode and that's why you cannot connect to it. You can monitor messages in the Application Event Log. If you see messages like "Attempt 1 of xxx to synchronize with the Master ... failed" and then "Last attempt ... failed" it means the standby has given up and turning to the autopilot mode. To see the remote Application Log you can use the regular Windows Event Viewer on your computer. In the Event Viewer right-click on "Event Viewer (Local)" item displayed in the log tree and then choose from the menu "Connect to another computer..." : I can remote control to the master server and see what is going on. I cannot : do the same with the standby server. We are having alot of problems with : the master locking up. I need to be able to see which server is in control : and what is going on. Any suggestions? : Both Servers are setup with the same port.
