Post Problem with Midnight & Noon Reply with quote

24x7 Automation versions 3.4.0 through 3.4.9

The 24x7 scheduler does not appear to distinguish
between Noon and Midnight when setting up a
Daily/weekly timed based job.

If you create a job with a 12 PM schedule and save it
then later go back to the properties of the job
the time is set at 12 AM. This is kind of a problem.

Thank You,

John

It appears that the Job Wizard shows the time incorrectly when you re-open the job properties, but jobs get scheduled correctly. As a matter of fact if you go to Properties page on the right hand of the Job Explorer you should see 12:00 PM there

That appears to be correct.

The job will run at noon if set to 12 PM. The real
problem then is that everytime you use the job wizard
to change the job you will need to remember to reset
the time since if you don't modify the time it will
change the job to 12 AM when you save it.
