Master is local C: drive. all options are TRUE.
the sync.log lists files deleted, but the files do not get deleted from the ftp server.
It works if the remote is the master, the files get deleted from the local drive, but this is not what I need.

24x7 never attempts to delete files on the master, so this isn ot a proof that "remote master" case works and the "local master" case doesn't.

1. Please make sure your FTP browser does not cache file list and "to be deleted" files are still on the FTP server.
2. Please try to delete files manually using the same user account that runs 24x7. This is to make sure there is no security related problems.

I meant to say it won't delete files on the remote. I can delete with the anonymous account on the ftp server from the 24x7 pc.
This machine has 2 syncftp jobs - Sync's a local folder with a remote master, then it sync's that folder with a internal ftp server. for job one (outside to localC:) it DOES delete files on the slave folder on the C: drive. However when job 2 Sync's the same local(C:) folder (as master) with a internal ftp server (slave) the files are not deleted on the slave.

Thanks for the additional info, I will setup a test case to verify this. I assume you are using one of the recent versions. Please let me know if you are running an older version.

I am confirming this as a bug. We will fix it as soon as possible. I will check if I can get this fix added to 3.4.2, if not it will be in 3.4.3.

In addition, the syncFTPdir job seems to have problems logging into the remote server after a while( I have it set to run once an hour). It is getting a 421 error. If I stop and start 24x7 (not running as a service), the job will log into the ftp site ok.

Version 3.4.2 is out. It should fix both problems. Please download and install this free upgrade

It appears that some files were not upgraded by the new setup program. The fixed setup program is now available for download. Please re-download and re-run v3.4.2 setup.
