It would be nice if the scheduler could :
- have the ability for the user to easily copy a job, eg highlight a job and select a copy command and paste it. This is for jobs that are very similar to each other.
- kill a single job directly. I don't think it can do this other than stopping the scheduler itself.

This can be done using "Copy properties of an existing job" link on the Job Properties Wizard.
You click New Job and then click this link. 24x7 displays Select Job dialog where you can pick the desired job.

This will be available in version 4.0. Any job can paused, resumed or stopped regardless of job type.

if it it going to be done via the job monitor screen that won't work for us as the job monitor screen causes 24x7 to hang and always has done so we cannot use that part of 24x7

I guess both the Job Monitor and Queue Monitor will be combined into one view.
