You can probably find some old DOS utility like LP from Norton Utilities v6 (and earlier) that provides such control over a printer. In 24x7, on job completion and job failure you can write the job status to a single line text file and the run LP (or similar utility) to print the file without ejecting or skipping the page. : I have a dot matrix printer I wish to have print : the jobs completed and jobs failed for each instance : without printing a new page each time, but rather a : new line. : Can 24x7 do something to this effect?
