I run a job that connects to a 9i database and I am continuously getting a Dr Watson Access Violation message.
Any ideas why ?

First thing you should do is to set the job to run "detached" to prevent it from bringing the entire scheduler down.

The problem is most likely within connect/disconnect. Try using Oracle 7.3 driver for the connection. Check may be an ODBC connection will work well for you.

I have put "Begin" and "End" around the statement and now it works !
