Just curious, where did you find it in the screen-savers section (I mean what is site where someone put it screen-savers) Yes, this is true 24x7 includes free screen-saver that you can keep even after the evalution version of the main product expires. To uninstall the main product suite use Add/Remove Programs applet in the Windows Control Panel. To uninstall the screen-saver or simply change it, go to to Control Panel, double-click on the Monitor icon, then click on the Screen-Saver tab and select a different screen-saver from the list. As for the screen-saver "Enter password" dialog, it is not really a screen-saver password dialog, it is Windows that shows the dialog. You can remove or change password in the same property page where you change the screen-saver. : I'll keep this as brief as possible. : I work at a school and I am guessing that someone downloaded 24x7 as it was : in the list of screen savers. Presuming it was just a screen saver I just : deleted the screen saver file. We are on at network. While I am on the : network I can change the screen saver and the time. As soon as I log off : the screen saver comes on but asks for a password which I do not know. : I have removed all reference to 24x7 in runedit and really dont know what : else to do. : I have solved it for now by setting to have no screen saver which works. : I am now going to download the trial and see if I can set it myself and : uninstall the 24x7 package correctly. : Any other ideas before it drives me mad. I sense the kids think I'm beaten, : LOL : Jean
