I downloaded the trial version of 24x7 Suite today. Everytime I exit 24 x 7 remote agent windows 2000 returns error code = 87. Dr. Watson was unable to attach to the process. It is possible that process exited before DR. Watson could attach to it. I have re-booted twice. I get the message every time.

We have this occuring on NT 4.0 systems as well. In fact this has been occuring since version 2. We have 12 jobs and the system will run for about a week or so and we disable the jobs on the Master to make sure that all jobs have finished. Yet every time the remote agent is closed Dr. Watson captures an error. An elegant shut down would be nice. Certainly you can handle such errors and not depend on the OS to do so.

That should not matter. 24x7 should be able to cancel current jobs and exit cleanly, such as in the case of an emergency shutdown due to power failure. However, as I said before, this exception occurs when all jobs have completed and are disabled on the master.
