He may have solved his problem, but I'm also having this problem. Here's some info: 24x7 version: 3.2.1 winsock version: 3.10.0.103 the 24x7ping.dll is in the main 24x7 directory I have turned the trace on. It shows the stats for the packet, then 24x7 crashes. I did not see the "Attempting" messages. The size and date of the 24x7ping.dll are 4/13/2001, 24,576 bytes The operating system is Windows 2000, 5.00.2195, SP2 I have tried using the DOS version of ping with no problems. Our network isn't slow or congested. Anything else you want to know?
