Java Interface |
|
Hi, I am trying to connect to the evaluation copy of 24x7 Scheduler v 3.1.0 with the sample program, which I have downloaded from your web just by today. When I set up the scheduler at one server od Win 2000 and run the Java program at another PC, it can connect to the server with 'connect'. But when it try to open an sessionby 'opensession', it told me that 'Invalid Serial Number' !! The serial number in the program is already set to new String(""). I don't know what wrong with my program or server setting, is there any work around solution for my testing ? Sunny

This sample program was created for version 2, which has a different security implementation (or better say, almost no security) and that's why the sample doesn't work with the trial version 3, although it still should work with the registered version. : Hi, : I am trying to connect to the evaluation copy of 24x7 Scheduler v 3.1.0 with : the sample program, which I have downloaded from your web just by today. : When I set up the scheduler at one server od Win 2000 and run the Java : program at another PC, it can connect to the server with 'connect'. Did you check the server or the computer where your run the Java example? Also, is there any related error or warning in the job log on the server, like "user XXX connection refused" or similar? If yes, what is the complete error message? : The registry shown it is 00000-00000 already, but still not success. Any : thing I should check as well ?? : Regards, : Sunny

Hi, : Did you check the server or the computer where your run the Java example? I have check the registry as you said on both machine. They are both showing "00000-00000". And now, I run them in the same machine, but it show me the same result - Invalid serial number! You must register this copy of the 24x7 Remote Control component before you can use it. : Also, is there any related error or warning in the job log on the server, : like "user XXX connection refused" or similar? If yes, what is : the complete error message? There is no log showing what the problem is. In fact, I have upgraded to v3.1.1 but still no hope. For further information, I am running on Windows 2000 server with SP2 and the client is tested with another PC running Windows 98. Regards, Sunny
