Post Lotus Notes Help Reply with quote

I am running 24 X 7 on a Win98 machine, along with Lotus Notes R5. When I attempt to use the 'MailSend' function, the 24 x 7 app freezes, and I get an 'unexpected ms system error' with the following description:

"24X7 caused an invalid page fault in
module PBVM70.DLL at 0177:1146f3eb.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Which email interface do you have selected in 24x7 (SMTP, MAPI, Lotus Notes)
If you use MAPI, do you have Notes MAPI interface installed on the system? if yes, which version?
If you use 24x7 Lotus Notes interface? Do you have Lotus Notes client running when you send emails? Do you have Lotus Notes home directory included in the PATH environment variable?

Email interface: Lotus Notes (as set in the Options menu)
Lotus Notes running: Yes running and logged in with live account
Contents of 'win.ini' file (that I had to manually modify):
[LotusMail]
Application=Notes
Program=c:\lotus\notes\notes.exe

I also noticed that 24x7 inserted the following into the win.ini file:

[24x7 Scheduler]
LNotes=judtlErbnmzW€oAS@

I am using Lotus Notes version 5.0.7.

Any other thoughts?

Do you have c:\lotus\notes in the PATH? If not, please add it.

The LNotes key contains your encrypted password for Notes that's why it looks that strange

Also, if your Notes server has SMTP gateway installed you can also try using SMTP interface.
