Post Job Forecast Report Reply with quote

24x7 Automation Suite version 3.0.5
Windows 2000 SP 2

Hello,

I have created a job that is scheduled to run once a week on Saturday.

The job does not appear in the job forecast report. If I add another day to run that has not occurred yet like Tuesday to the schedule for the Job it shows up as running Saturday then if I take Tuesday away Saturday disappears again.
Also, when I add Tuesday, Saturday is there but Tuesday is not. If I add Monday then Tuesday and Saturday are there but Monday is not.

I was just wondering if anyone would have an idea of why it is doing that?

John

Do you mean that the first day/run is always skipped on the report? Does the job actually run on that day or the run is also skipped?

Do you have "collect job statistics" option enabled? If yes, for how long?

By the way, what do you have for the very first start date in the job properties?

Yes the first day/run of a schedule is apperently always skipped so if you are only running one day a week it never shows up on the report since the report is only for one week. The job will actually run on the day. If you select the JOB DETAIL view for the Jobs tab is lists the correct next run date and time.

I have job execution statistics enabled if that is what you mean. For how long, always, it is never turned off.

I have tried the actual start date plus earlier dates and the result is the same.
