Trying to attach a file called "c:\dir1\dir2\report.txt" to an email,
and it is resolving to "c:\dir1\dir2\ eport.txt".

"\r" is becoming a blank space character. This is version 2.4.7.

I know the "@w" resolving to "6" was fixed. Do you have a list of
any other identified problems like this with special characters?

Please change your code to "c:\\dir1\\dir2\\report.txt"
