I am evaluating a trial version and i wanna use the smtp server mail notification. but is not working. the IP address of my smtp server is 200.41.10.3 , everything is working on but in a small test when it was finish the log report says "smpt server error". the server is ok, the email sender is ok, the recipient is ok. What is going on?.

"smpt server error" is this the complete message?

Turn on the tracing (Tools/Options/Log/Trace enabled). Run the job manually and look for additional messages in the trace window.

"SMTP server error" is the complete message. Turning on the tracing does not appear nothing that indicate the problem. There is only message of the ftp file transfer that i programed

Did the email message get through?

You can also check the following:
1. If your SMTP server uses non-default SMTP port you can specify this port in the Tools/Options (SMTP server name field), for example, 123.45.67.89:22 where 22 is the port number.
2. If your SMTP server does not support relays, change default SMTP sender name to a valid email address in the system registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SoftTree Technologies, Inc.\24x7 Scheduler\2.0\SMTPSender". Try your email address for example.

i am trying with another server and the message is "the mail server don't like the name lfedrian. Have you set the recipient address correctly?"

Please explain to me, what have to put on the recipient.

The recipient is the email address of the person to whom you want to sent the email message. If you are sending it to yourself use lfedrian@telecel.com.py
