[12.4.476 Pro] - Performance Dashboard - Missing Indexes |
|
There's a small glitch with ordering the rows in the Missing Indexes. When I try to order the rows based on their Index Advantage values, they seem to be ordered as text instead of numbers. At first, I thought it was because the regional settings use a comma as a decimal separator instead of a period but the ordering for the [i]Avg Estimated Cost of Queries[/] works properly so it's not the regional settings.
Furthermore, no indicators show what the current order is based on.

The left side column alignment indicates to me that the column is treated as text values, I'm guessing this is why they get sorted as text. If you Export results to a spreadsheet, I you can sort them by numeric values. Hope that workaround works for you.

Yes, it does, and that's what I do when doing complex analysis. But for quickly checking/fixing things I prefer not to involve external tools.
