[12.0.191 Pro] - BUG: Shared Code Snippets |
|
There's a serious bug with Shared Code Snippets. When integrating the snippets from the shared set into the current ones, it seems that the last characters are amputated from each shared snippet. The snippets in the current set are unaffected. That results in early ej... I mean early triggering of the shared snippets. When several snippets have the same stem and only differ in their last character, this also means that only the last one will be available, all the preceding ones will be hidden/overridden.
Check this short video here. Many of these have a period as their last/terminating character and that gets chopped off. But it is not period-specific. It also happens to any other character (see snippet "tocheck" that gets truncated to "tochec").

We started working on fixing this issue and so far we are unable to reproduce it. Could you please export your code snippets to a separate file and share it with the support so we can try to reproduce it using your setup? Please reference either this topic of ticket #SA0042459 in the email subject.
