Post How to get the latest SQL Assistant installation ? Reply with quote
Hi,

Sorry to post in this forum, but I have a problem to download the latest installation file of SQL Assistant.

1) When I fill the form on the download/trial page
=> I never receive the email

2) When I fill the contact form to support
=> I never receive any answer

3) When I send an email to maintenance_renewalsATsofttreetech.com
=> I never receive any answer

May I have a direct download link please ?

Thanks.

Have you checked your spam/unwanted email folder?

To get the latest, right-click the system tray application and select Check for Updates. No need to file any forms or emails.

But I would certainly recommend whitelisting softtreetech.com domain, it's not good that you are unable to reach out to support. Also likely don't get upgrade and maintenance notifications too.

Of course I know the right-click, but the installation is not for me, but for a colleague :-)

Ok, I'll ask the IT to whitelist your domain.

You could also "preserve" the latest installer from the last update. I used to keep it in case I needed to do a clean install after trying the update first. It resides somewhere in your system temporary folder, having a name something like sqlassist_setup_125129....exe, or whatever numbers the OS adds to that temporary file. Windows tends not to remove it after finishing the update. That fact is, of course, moot in case you never did any updates.

Please get in touch with the support, they can provide you with a fairly persistent link that changes infrequently, which I'm not able to copy here.

It's OK now.
"noreply@...." was blacklisted for spam/phishing.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the tip gemisigo. In fact I also did that, but with "sqlassistant*.exe" not "sqlassist*.exe" !
I have 5 install in "C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\" :-)
