Datagen path |

May I ask why you are storing the files used in data generation in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\SQL Assistant 11\datagen" instead of storing them together with the rest of the user-editable/modifiable/configurable files (like SqlAssist.sas, SqlEditor.km, etc.), in "C:\Users\my_user\AppData\Roaming\SQL Assistant\xx.y\datagen"?
That would make more sense, wouldn't it? After all, the files in Program Files and its subfolders are read-only without admin access, and that makes editing them a bit harder than necessary. It also makes the backup of all the user-editable/modifiable/configurable files way more inefficient (having to do that in two folders, one requiring admin access for anything else than a simple read).

This is a very good point. Unfortunately I don't have an answer. Perhaps it's a legacy thing. From where I stand, what you suggest has a lot more sense. The files are supposed to be customizable and so shouldn't be where they are now.
