 SQL Server Management Studio 18 |

I just installed v18.0 for SSMS and SQL Assistant is not working. How do I get SQL Assistant registered in this version of SSMS?
SQL Assistant version: 10.1.278 Standard Edition

SSMS 18x will be supported in the next version. Beta version is expected in a few weeks.

Can you please run the diagnostics utility and let us know if it returns any errors?

Forcing the component model cache to be rebuilt fixes the issue. Shut down SSMS 18 - Rename (or delete) the ComponentModelCache folder in this location: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\SQL Server Management Studio\18.0_IsoShell\ then restart SSMS 18.
