I have a Delphi 7 program with a TRichEditSyntax component (v3.2) on it. The code formatter garbles the query up in this component. All I jhave left are some ??????? questionmarks. This does not happen when I replace the component with a regular TMemo. There is no update for the TRichEditSyntax, and I'm bound to D7 what to do? It sounds like the TRichEditSyntax control has custom implementation of some standard Windows text editing messages EM_... In case you are developing some sort a custom plugin, you may want to check the Plugins development feature in the latest SQL Assistant version 10. It would allow you to create a plugin featuring the same kind of SQL editor that is used in SQL Assistant SQL Editor.
