[SA 9.1.261 Pro] - DROP USER popup |
|
DROP USER has schemas in its popup instead of users. I guess that's because in the past those terms (the schemas, their owners and the users) were mingled. It is rather disturbing because this is no longer the case and you obviously cannot drop a schema instead of the user.

I'm afraid it's because of the cross-platform support, that is still the case in many databases user=schema, for example, in Oracle. But I'm going to raise this issue and ask to fix it.

Thanks. And by the way, when showing system objects in Database Explorer, there's a folder called Users which also shows anything but users (with 'anything' consisting of long lists of schemas, roles and logins).

Thank you very much for letting us know about that issue. I have logged it in our issue tracking system.
