Most likely the version installed doesn't match your license key. By any chance, have you installed the most recent version 9.1 but used license key issued for version 7 or 6?

Did a new install and still getting error.
When I go into SQL I first get the error message
"The 14-days trial period has expired. Please uninstall the software or obtain a license."
then once running I go into SQL Assistant and the About - it has my current license number but I get the error
"Invalid License Key!"

The 14 days is related. If it does not accept the current license because of the version mismatch, it would treat the installation as a trial mode.
I suggest you email your current key to salesATsofttreetech.com and ask for further assistance.
