Tool tip not working for randomly selected cells

Result grid Tool tip (Count, Sum, Avg, Min & Max) not working for randomly selected cells. It only works for cells selected in particular order with mouse but not randomly selected cells. It is also not working when cells selected across diff columns randomly.
If this explanation is not clear then I can show screen short.

That's by design. The selection must be continuous. It doesn't work for disconnected cells.

If this is limited by design, then I suggest soft-tree to enhance the design to enable tool tip for multi-selected cells in any given order like excel and also make sure it works when cells selected using keyboard not just mouse.

You are correct, that behavior is by design. Future versions may support dis-joined cells, but for now the selected cells should be adjacent to each other.

Just in case, you you'd like, you can copy formatted results to Excel with 2 simple clicks, there is "Open in Excel" command available in the right-click menu . If the Excel is already open then Ctrl+A to select all, switch to Excel and Ctrl+V to paste the raw contents.
