[SA 9.0.144 Pro BETA] - Copy result cell issues |
|
Clicking a cell in result grid and putting its contents to the clipboard works. Except when the result column data is a string and it contains newlines, in which case they're removed and the stuff that gets to the clipboard is a single line.
There's a workaround for that, namely, I can double-click the cell and it opens the Cell Value viewer where the text is shown in its original format. But this dialog doesn't capture keystrokes. Both Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C are evaluated in SQL Editor window, selecting and copying code from it instead of result data. The only way to fetch text from the Cell Value viewer is using mouse and context menus.
Could you fix that, please? I mean it would be great if we could use the hotkeys in the Cell Value viewer and it would be even greater if copying from the grid wouldn't lose text formatting.

This issue is supposed to be fixed in build 9.0.152. Please test it one more time. I'm sorry I forgot to update this report earlier.

And I also forgot to mark it as fixed, because I tested it in 9.0.152. Thank you very much.

Something's not right. Copying a single cell retains formatting. Copying multiple cells still ruins it by removing newlines.
