Change the error messages |
|
Hi,
I use sql assistant with postgresql and my error messages are not very explicit.
For example when I'm using SQL Assistant :
 |
 |
Code 7 22021 State, ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8" 0xE9 0x71 0x75 |
When using sql developer :
 |
 |
ERROR: agglomeration_commerciale column does not exist |
There is a way that my messages are more explicit with S.A ?
Sai
PS : i'm french sorry for my english

Hi.
Which database driver do you use to connect to the database. Is that an ODBC or ADO? Unicode or ANSI version?

Hi,
You are right ! I used the version of ANSI of the driver. I exchange with the good one and I have more explicit messages.
Thanks.

Thank you for the status update. I'm glad the issue has been resolved.
PS. SQL Assistant version 8 will have full support for Unicode data, Unicode strings in scripts and error messages. We expect beta version by the end of the summer or sooner.
