Removing SQL Assist UI from Notepad++ |
|
Hello I installed the trial version of SQL Assistant and used the plugin for Notepad++. The tool was not what I was looking for so I uninstalled it. However, in Notepad++, the SQL Assistant/Connect UI still displays whenever I try to edit a SQL command. I researched online and edited up removing all Registry entries for SQL Assist but the problem still persists. Can you tell me how to remove this? Reinstalling Notepad++ did not help either. Thanks

Hello. There is no plugin for Notepad++ so it cannot be uninstalled. But the integration with Notepad++ can be disabled in SQL Assistant's options. In the Options dialog on the DB Targets tab untick the check box in front of Notepad++. Click Apply changes.
If that doesn't help, restart SQL Assistant in Run as Administrator mode and try again. One of that should do the trick.

I'm sorry I may have misread your message. If you'd like to uninstall SQL Assistant completely, please do so using Programs and Features applet in Windows Control Panel.
